Preparing the soil

Did you know that you cannot just plant in the same soil year after year.

How do you prepare your soil, because it is all about what you do to the dirt you have in order to grow the food you need.

Now, if your a gardening enthusiast you may already know that preparing the soil is a year long thing, it is not just for the spring.

Soil if not prepared will not yield results, or at least the results you want to see.

Preparation is just part of the equation, you need to aerate, the soil, prepare compost to help the soil.

Even fertilize, yes, you can.

Getting the soil just right means that you have to do two things, one be really smart, or two, use a tool to tell you what needs to be added to the soil to make it just right.

Most farmers, just use a tool…

Ford Tractors, the art of maintaining your best friend.

In the world of tractors and trucks, one thing remains clear,

What can you do with a Tractor, well it might be easier to say what you cannot do.

Ford tractors have long been one of the most stable and dependable tractors around.

8 N tractor repairs, do you have or more importantly do you want to have a tractor old or otherwise?

It can be said that keeping your tractor up to date, and running well is not only a job but an art. There are literally things that you have to do every year, and if you do not use your equipment on a regular basis, you could face many issues that require repairs.

This is something that you really want to avoid and I can tell you this from experience.

Now, It looks like the restore process needs to begin so that I can once again start to use my equipment, I can see right away that I need to get two front tires, and rebuild the hydraulics, it needs a new clutch and pressure plate.

Probably need to rebuild the engine…

And that leads to even more repairs.

So here we go again, another tale about how you went to change the oil and ended up sandblasting the paint off the hyde of the tractor so you could paint it again with that special red paint…

The thing is where does it end, I mean you could just do a few repairs and put it back to work again, but if you have to put in a new clutch, and I can tell that it is not going to be easy to put a new clutch in, because you have to separate the front from the rear of the tractor.

Which means you have to take the darn thing apart.

Maintaining a tractor is work, but once you get through there is no greater pleasure than to hook up a box blade and make quick work of a road that you use to feed the cows.

Getting that work done, in a few minutes time instead of take days, is what owning a tractor is all about, so make sure you keep your tractor working well, replace seals, and keep it lubricated.

It will pay you back at twice the going rate.

Case IH Tractors: A Living Legacy

The Case Tractor Company was founded in 1831 and the first Case farm tractors were developed a year later. Modern Case farm tractors have evolved from the merger of three well-known names in the industry: International Harvester, Farmall and Steiger.

The Case IH Tractors Company is still in existence and their tractors are still a favorite with many farmers. There is an active market, especially with online tractor supply store websites for used and new Case tractors as well as for parts and accessories. Thanks to the World Wide Web, you can find Case IH tractors used or new and find all the parts and accessories that go with them.

When Case merged with International Harvester, their tractors began to be referred to as Case IH tractors, but there are still original Case farm tractors that are collected and restored or still working as a trusty old farm tractor. It is this durability and ruggedness that has made them a popular brand of tractors. At tractor supply store websites, it is easy to find parts and accessories, no matter how old your Case farm tractors are.

Since Case farm tractors can outlast many of the farmers who used them, they are still actively bought and sold, old and new.  It’s not unusual to find some of these Case IH tractors that have been in families for years that still function just as well as some of the newer models. Having a reliable source for parts, accessories or used Case farm tractors can be important if you happen to own one of these older models.

No matter what your budget is, you can find affordable used Case farm tractors or parts and accessories at an online tractor supply store website, along with many other brands. Because the Internet allows a nationwide network of private sellers and dealers to come together with buyers who are looking for certain models or parts of Case IH tractors, you can be certain that if it is for sale, you will find it on a popular tractor supply store website.

It’s not unusual to find those hard to find parts to help you restore your tractor, if you are a collector or love to restore antique tractors. Many of these restored models can bring as much as some of the newer models, assuming you have used original parts. While many collectors and restorers might assume that the dealer’s website is the best place to go, most private sellers are the ones that are holding the parts and used tractors that collectors or restorers are looking for.

You can refine your search with a number of parameters to make locating parts or used and new Case IH tractors easy. Whether you are looking close to home for a popular model or searching the country for an unusual, antique tractor part, you can bet that you will find it on a tractor supply store website.
